I love this thing. I had read other reviews about some "construction problems" but I never assembled mine and it still works great for me. Despite a houseful of potential "helpers" I always seem to be doing the yardwork alone. I used it all spring and things that used to be a pain were so easy. Instead of trying to stuff garbage bags with leaves, weeds and other crap (by myself- imagine) I just dumped everything on top of this, waited for the pile to get as big as I thought I could move, grabbed the handles on each side, took it to the garbage can and dumped it. EASY!

Like the concept and design. I have a residential, wooded property about an acre in size. Lots of leaves, lots of debris, constantly cleaning up. A 6 cu. ft. wheelbarrow really isn't very helpful. This thing was really helpful - for a while, then it started to fall apart.Wish it was better made. One rod has broken and two of the rod pockets have torn. Another mm. in rod size and reinforced pockets would have earned five stars.

I wrote a similar review for the Anolon Advanced Hard Anodized Nonstick 3.5-Quart Covered Straining Saucepan with Spouts, which is my go-to pot. (It is so handy with the strainer!) I've had this pan for over a year and love it! I was thinking of getting a wok and my husband got this as a present for me instead. I agree with other reviewers that it is heavy and would be nice to have a helper handle (same for the pot) but it works so well, is easy to clean, and convenient. The high sides are great for EASY sauteing of veggies, fried rice, and anything else. I also love the silicone handles which don't get hot and the glass cover which lets you see the food inside. A thumbs up! I have the full Anolon advanced professional set and it is great but find that I use this and my pot over my other pieces.

It just arrived so I have no comments on its utility or durability. But before I forget, I want to post the actual dimensions. That would have helped me a LOT if anyone - including the manufacturer - had bothered to do so. This is a 12" pan measured across the top. It is a 6.25" pan measured across the flat bottom. The sides curve up from there, to a height of 3.25". The handle is 7.5" long, with 4.5" of that insulated.

You can't go wrong with this pan. It's sturdy, high quality and has a lid! You can use it for stir fry or just regular pan frying. It has a nice non-stick surface and I can tell it will last a long time.

I was excited to get this to put maple syrup in. It works well, but drips a little so it gets a little "maple syrup" crusty on top. It is the best dispenser we have had in a while, but doesn't match the greatness of my grandmothers. Overall, it works well - I love the size, but I am keeping my eye open for a better one. It may work better with a thicker syrup.

I was excited to get these dispensers for my honey and syrup. But after using them for a few months I can tell you they leak out of the top. Not sure why... as they do have a small rubber type gasket inside. After using them they sit on the cabinet, when I take them out there is a little puddle on the shelf and a dribble down the side of the container. I have wiped them clean before storage and they still dribble. Oh well... I still use them. Sometimes a little cleanup is worth the ease of having the dispenser.

With a metal lid, a rubber (or plastic) gasket, and a full glass container the only problem with this is that I use it too much. Every time I empty the honey out I have to fully clean all the pieces or I get leaks. But the size of the container gives me at least a weeks worth of honey with the use of about 3 tablespoons a day. I avoid leaking honey by keeping the rim of the jar dry.
The only difficulty is that sometimes I try to rinse the honey off the rim with running water instead of a cloth. This causes water to get in with the honey but the water floats on the honey so I just pour it out. The container is perfect for reheating in a hot water bath so that if I had crystallized honey it would return to normal without needing to transfer it to another container.

I purchased this table to go with a projector.

The good:
1. The table top is larger than I thought, resulting in the pleasant surprise of additional counter space to hold my DVDs and various paraphernalia.
2. It is very sturdy - you would not easily knock this table over, making it especially safe around kids.
3. You can raise it very high, which means that you can put a projector behind a bunch of kids without worrying about a head blocking the screen.

The bad:
1. Based on the picture, I thought the legs folded out from hinges on the corners of the table. They don't. You have to screw four of them in and out manually each time. This is a hassle.
2. It's uncomfortably heavy - you certainly would not want to carry it for long. While the weight makes it more stable, it also means it's more of a pain to put together and pull apart. As a result, you'll tend to leave it sitting in a corner between uses, which to me means it's not really portable - it's more of a semi-permanent fixture.

I have a super-lightweight camera stand (which I love) and thought this was going to be just like that. While it's certainly up to the task of holding your projector, I believe it could be designed effectively with less than a quarter of the weight and with fold out legs. I'll keep it, but would not buy it again.


Da-Lite 42067 Review by Brian Bishop

It's fairly simple and works as such.

The handle is unbearable. More than 2 minutes of carrying and you'll need phys therapy.
The first unit I got, one of the nuts was stripped. Given the depth of thread, it would be physically impossible to do this tightening by hand and the embedded nut had every appearance of being overbored, so I think it was just a bad nut. It still worked in that the pole would not easily pull out of the stand/nut (I would still need to unthread it) but it wouldn't tighten, making it a little more wobbly.

Amazon shipped out a replacement and I had it in a few days, with very little hassle.

I would only take off 1/2 star for the bad nut. Quality control could get this if they threaded in the legs, but that would add a lot of cost so I understand.
I took off a 1.5 stars for the bad handle. No excuse for that.


Da-Lite 42067 Review by DBHouston

I bought this stand to support an inexpensive teleprompter setup in front of a Prosumer Camcorder. The stand works great for that purpose.

The question on portability comes from the first product shipped: It was poorly packed with the legs stuck in the normal holder on the back of the stand. The box arrived broken open and taped shut and the legs & holder torn off the stand base. I sent it back for a replacement which worked fine. My conclusion is the stand does not ship well but might be OK for carrying around.

I would definitely recommend this to others.
